My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. Achieving this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
Rosemary believes that people are resilient, and that people can adapt and find hope in the most difficult of times, when they receive the support that they need. She also believes that people have an innate ability to make positive changes in their lives and learn to cope with the challenges they are facing.
She uses her experience to tailor her therapeutic approach to meet clients’ particular needs. Her approach is eclectic, and she employs various therapeutic modalities depending on specific clients’ needs and presenting issues.
Rosemary has experience in a variety of areas with specific knowledge in couples therapy, coping with depression, grief and loss, anxiety disorders, managing life transitions, trauma and addictions.
Rosemary holds a Masters of Social Work degree in addition to post-graduate training from the Traumatology Institute as a Clinical Traumatologist. Rosemary also completed a post-graduate certification in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University.
She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Brief Therapies, and Mindfulness Based Therapies. She is empathetic and passionate about accompanying clients on their journey to mental wellness.
