We’ll reach out by the next business day. Based on your goals and schedule, we match you to a therapist and offer the earliest openings—many clients start within 24–48 hours.
Yes. We see clients in person in Kitchener‑Waterloo at our Waterloo office location and online across Ontario. Choose what fits best for you—some clients even mix both.
Individual sessions are $150–$185 (50 minutes), and couples sessions are typically 80 minutes at 1.5× the individual rate (varies by therapist).
Most plans cover sessions with a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) and/or a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Coverage varies by plan, so check your insurer’s requirements for credentials. (We’ll provide an insurance‑ready receipt.) For online sessions, most plans that cover in‑person therapy also cover online therapy.
YES! We are thrilled to offer clients direct billing to most major insurers (including Laurier and U of W student plans). Some insurers don't allow for direct billing, in this case we would provide an insurance ready receipt for you to submit to your insurer for reimbursement (if applicable)
Many student plans include mental‑health benefits for sessions with MSW, RSW / RP. See our Student Counselling page for how coverage works and current details.
No referral is required to book private psychotherapy. Some insurers may ask for a doctor’s note—check your plan.
Yes. We follow PHIPA (Ontario’s health privacy law) and professional college standards. We only share information with your written consent or when required by law (e.g., immediate safety risk). There are some limitations per Ontario privacy law, please read through our terms of service forms (that you complete before your first visit) and/or discuss with your therapist to understand more.
